2026 RET Research Webinar

The Happy Lungs Project presents our 2026 RET Research Update

Mark your calendar for Thursday, November 5, when The Happy Lungs Project hosts our 5th Annual RET Research Update Webinar, bringing together leading researchers, clinicians, and industry experts for a live look at the latest research and emerging advances in RET-positive cancer.

Dr. Eric Singhi of MD Anderson Cancer Center will moderate a distinguished lineup of experts, featuring remarks from Dr. John Heymach and research updates from Dr. Alexandre Reuben and Dr. Mihaela Aldea on topics including:

  • Mechanisms of resistance to RET inhibitors
  • Novel therapeutic targets for RET-positive cancers
  • New strategies to stratify RET patients and predict response to RET inhibitors
  • Emerging research with the potential to inform future treatment strategies

You’ll also hear directly from industry experts developing therapies for RET-positive cancers — Eli Lilly, Ellipses Pharma, and Rigel — about the latest developments from their RET research and clinical programs.

This year’s event also marks an exciting milestone for HLP. We’ll introduce Kelli Beyer Patel, HLP’s first Executive Director, to the RET community and share a glimpse of what’s ahead for the organization.

Whether you’re a patient, caregiver, clinician, researcher, or advocate, the RET Research Update is an opportunity to hear the latest developments directly from the experts leading this work and ask your questions during a live Q&A.
